The Sound Execution System
Five Skills.
Five Weeks.
One Repeatable System.
Your rules aren’t the problem.
Your threat response is what’s been ignoring them.
The moment emotional urgency hijacks your execution and causes you to violate your own rules.
Not because you forgot them. Because your nervous system overruled them. It’s a S.T.R.A.Y. trade, a State-Triggered Reaction Against Yourself.
You know these by their street names. FOMO. Chasing. Revenge trading. Moving the stop. Adding to losers. Scaling. Same hijack. Every time.
You know what to do. You’ve studied the setup. You’ve written the rules. But the moment that trade goes red, something else takes over, and it isn’t discipline, because discipline requires a regulated brain, and yours just went offline.
You’re not undisciplined. You’re unregulated. Those are different problems. Only one of them has a fix.
I am Sean, and I spent 22 years as a psychotherapist. Not coaching. Clinical work: trauma, nervous system dysregulation, the full weight of what happens when a brain gets locked in threat mode.
Then I became a trader. I already knew what threat does to a nervous system. The market just gave it a price tag.
What I found: the market is the most efficient trauma delivery system I have ever encountered. Every drawdown, every violation, every “why did I do that” moment, I’ve seen the clinical version of all of it.
I know what’s happening in your body when you add to a loser. I know why you can’t just stop.
That’s not a credential. That’s the only reason this works.
The Sound Performance community has been life-changing for me. I’ve been trading for many years and developed a consistent edge in the markets. Using what Sean has taught me, and I putting in the work and time, has boosted my profitability in a way I never thought would come. The concepts and thought processes have given me a purposeful routine before I even think about jumping on the charts
Week 1. DETECT: Catch It Before It Catches You
You don’t notice it happening. That’s the problem.
By the time you know you’re tilted, the revenge trade is already in. By the time you feel the urgency, you’ve already moved the stop. Your nervous system made the decision three minutes ago. You’re just the last one to find out.
Detection isn’t self-awareness in the abstract sense. It’s learning to read the signals your body sends before your mind catches up, the jaw that tightens when you’re down 1R, the breathing that goes shallow when the setup isn’t there but you want it to be, the chest pressure that arrives exactly when you should be closing the platform and walking away.
Those signals are early. They arrive before the bad trade. Most traders learn to read them only after the damage is done. You’re going to learn to read them in time to matter.
Week 2. DIRECT: The Compass To Survive Tilt
Willpower is a battery. Stress drains it. The market excels at stress.
When urgency spikes, the prefrontal cortex, the part responsible for rule-following, planning, and delayed gratification, loses influence to the threat system. This isn’t weakness. It’s biology. “Follow the plan” fails at exactly the moment it matters most because the plan requires the part of your brain that just went dark.
What we install in Week 2 isn’t another rule. Rules are cognitive, and cognition is the first casualty of tilt. We identify the operational values that define your behavior at the desk, specific, concrete, and uncompromising, and build them into your decision process before the session starts, when your brain is still working.
Not abstract principles. Behavioral lines. The kind that hold even when you’re down 4R and the voice in your head is generating convincing arguments for why this one exception makes sense.
Week 3. DEFUSE: The Space Before the Click
The thought arrives at 10:23 AM: I have to make this back.
It feels like an analysis. It isn’t. It’s a threatened brain issuing orders. And if you’ve never trained for this moment, you follow the order. You re-enter. You size up. You turn a controlled loss into a session-ending disaster.
Defusion doesn’t silence the voice. It just stops you from obeying it. You hear I have to make this back the same way you hear traffic noise present, noted, not in charge. The gap between the thought and the click is where your edge actually lives.
Week 4. OBSERVE: Awareness Doesn't Flinch
Something in you has been watching this whole time.
It was there during your worst drawdown, when the account was bleeding, and panic was fully in charge. It noticed the fear. It noticed the greed. It didn’t panic alongside them. It just watched.
That observer is not your P&L. It’s not your streak. It’s not the story you’ve built about what kind of trader you are. Those things change sometimes daily. But the part of you that has witnessed every version of your trading, every high and every disaster? That hasn’t changed.
When the thought I’m blowing up again feels like fact, it’s because you’ve forgotten that part of you exists. Week 4 is how you find it again. In the middle of the trade, not after.
Week 5. INTEGRATE: The Debrief That Builds
You blew the rules. Again.
The first response for most traders is attack. Idiot. Undisciplined. When are you going to learn. The second is avoidance: close the journal, skip the review, don’t look at the replay. Both feel like doing something. Neither one changes anything.
And it’s not just losing streaks. Hot streaks end badly for the same reason. Seventeen green days and you don’t see the eighteenth coming because nobody debriefs a winning session.
Nobody asks what state they were in when the size crept up, when the rules bent just slightly, when confidence crossed into something else. The crash feels sudden. It never is.
A slip is information. It tells you exactly what state you were in, what triggered the shift, and where the system broke down. Week 5 is the protocol that reads both directions, the spiral down and the slow drift up, before either one becomes a catastrophe.
One bad trade stops becoming the first in a losing streak. One good run stops becoming the setup for your worst month.
All for $797 – less than the cost of a single bad session.
I was so tired of asking myself, “Why did I do that AGAIN?!” Been doing this long enough, I know what I need to know. My mistakes are not a function of lack of knowledge. They are a function of poor execution.
Reviewing failed trades revealed a clear pattern but not a clear cause. I know I’m smart enough. What’s in my way?
I knew it had to be psychological. I was unwilling and unable to wait for years of therapy to address this. Stumbling around for answers.
What I didn’t expect was how much this didn’t just improve my trading, but my personal life. I first noticed the same old triggers in interpersonal relations changing. That’s when I realized trading is like a relationship. I had to change my RELATIONSHIP to trading.
I’m just beginning to see the benefit of this work in my trading. The first signs were how I felt intraday, whether it was a trade going my way or against me.
WHAT YOU GET:
- Five live 2-hour sessions. Active nervous system training built around real market conditions
- A workbook you’ll actually use, structured debrief protocols for the morning after a blown session, pre-session calibration checklists, and pattern-tracking tools that show you exactly where your execution breaks down
- Capped at 25 traders, small enough that Sean knows your specific trigger, not just your category.
- Private Discord with direct access between sessions because Tilt doesn’t wait for Mondays or Wednesdays.
- The Reinforcement Round offers one free retake within a year. Behavioral change isn’t linear. Come back when the next layer is ready.
How It Works:
You already know what to do. The problem is doing it when it counts when you’re down 2R before noon, when the setup isn’t there but the urge is, when the voice says just get back to flat.
This workshop doesn’t teach you what you already know. It works on the layer where knowledge stops mattering: the moment your nervous system decides the market is a threat and takes execution offline.
Five sessions. Each one targets a specific breakdown point the late entry, the skipped stop, the revenge trade, the spiral. We don’t talk about these in the abstract. Your actual patterns, not hypothetical ones.
This is not therapy. There’s no couch. We open the charts.
Not sure if this is right for you, talk to Sean directly.
This is for you if:
You know your setup. You know your rules. And you still blow them not occasionally, but in a pattern you can practically predict.
You’ve read the books. You’ve done the journaling. You’re not undisciplined. Something else is happening and you know it.
You’re willing to look at what’s actually going on not just the trade, but the state you were in when you took it.
This is not for you if:
You don’t have a defined edge yet. Build that first.
You’re not willing to be honest about what’s happening at the desk. The work requires it.
You’re looking for motivation without changing how you trade. This will change how you trade, the motivation follows.
The most valuable and elusive skill set in trading, business, and performance is the ability to alter one’s most deeply ingrained behavioral patterns and “right the course.” The SPP community focuses on strategies and techniques proven to lead to behavioral change from scientific and spiritual traditions. Trauma profoundly influences our decision-making, and Sean is one of the rare few people on earth who draws on decades of clinical experience dealing with trauma to run a profitable trading business.
